"Geronimo!" I cried when I realised that I could replace the pictures I had taken at the competition night and then promptly lost in an unfortunate formatting faux pas with ones from the table display at the Scottish Nationals.
In keeping with tradition, our April competition theme also doubled as a group build to coincide with our new show table theme - this year: 'models and music' or 'song titles and models' or, more accurately, 'stuff to do with music that could be tenuously linked with a model of some sort'.
So for the centre attraction, some bright spark had the idea for us all to build an Apache (AH-64) helicopter. This many of us did but at great cost to our sanity. Poor Alex is still undergoing extensive decal therapy.
The results of the competition were:
1st - Bruce
2nd - Kevin
3rd - Alex
