February, 2016

Thirty days hath September, so goes the poem. Basically, what it's saying is that February is an awkward bugger. Derived from the Latin februum, meaning purification, February is also the month of love. So what better way to pay respect to this than by having the theme of our bi-monthly competition as... insects. The rules were strict - no spiders, as they are to insect as whales are to fish, or Country & Western is to music.

The turn out was copious (for us) and surprisingly, no Gnats. Plenty of Mossies though...
The results of the competition were:

Joint 1st - Kevin's Vespe and Gary's Mosquito.
2nd - Bruce's Firefly
