December 2017
Christmas comes but once a year, but for the boys of the East Neuk Model Club, it comes every time they open the box to a new model. It's the accompanying turkey dinners that are having the undesirable effects...
As per, the theme of the December comp night, like so many attributes of t'merry season, is a tradition, namely a colour. That being said, this year, instead of adhering to a defined shade of a clearly chromatic correctness, Dayglo/Hi-Viz was chosen in all its flagrant gaudiness for the participants to interpret. After all (and in keeping with a glowing seasonal motif), wasn't it a hi-viz appendage that ended up guiding a certain someone's sleigh...?
The results of the competition were:

1st - Neil - 1/48 Revell Catalina
2nd - Kevin - 1/72 AZ Models Martin Baker MB6
3rd - Bruce - 1/48 Kinetic 1 Fouga Magister
