Al Pacino went "Ooh-Ah" at the scent of one whilst Henry James was a tad more concerned about a Portrait of one. Us here at the East Neuk Model Club, couldn't give a tosh about all that. What we do give a tosh about is the name of one. What's in a name you may (or may not) ask? Everything, when it comes to our first themed competition night of the year. What was the theme (if you haven't guessed it already)? The Name Of A Lady!
The results of the competition were:
1st 1/48 Mitsubishi G4M 'Betty' by Bruce Pert
2nd 1/35 Matilda II by Kevin Marshall
3rd 1/72 P-47 Thunderbolt 'Miss K' by John

Bruce's winning Betty
Frank Spencer impersonations abounded.
Kevin's 2nd place Tamiya Matilda
Blueberry Muffins
Plain. Simple. Delicious. And because of the relatively low turnout, there were more to go around! Yum!
