'Twas the club meet before Christmas when all through the Howe's, not a creature was stirring, not even a mowse(!?!). No, seriously, the place was dead. The barmaid even made it to level 32 on Candy Crush Saga.

Upstairs was a different matter as the boys from the East Neuk Model Club gathered for their annual Christmas quiz and competition night. A typically joyous affair as spirits are riding higher and higher in preparation for the arrival of the jolly fat guy in the red suit at the end of the month.

Speaking of things in red, this was also the theme of our competition. The turn out was excellent and there was not one Red Arrow among them! We'll let Gordon off with his Red Baron's steed because it was so good.
